Phantom goes behind the mask of the great opera ghost and exposes the mysteries of his passions. Where did the phantom come from? Why is he destined to haunt the opera? What makes his relationship with the young soprano Christine the romance to end all? Based on the 1910  novel “Phantom of the Opera”  Yeston and Kopits “Phantom” offers a different twist by beginning the story earlier in his life of  the phantom,  introducing his father into the plot as a character and other turns along the way.  This is a story about Christine, a street singer and Erik the Phantom, who eventually falls in love with her.
