On Dec. 13, 1967, “Come Blow Your Horn,” the first show ever performed at the Alhambra Theatre & Dining, opened. Two days short of 50 years later, on Monday, Dec. 11, the Alhambra will hold a 50th Birthday Bash.

The event will begin with a reception in the garden at the Alhambra, 12000 Beach Blvd., at 5:30 p..m. Andy Dimino, a Dean Martin impersonator, will serve as emcee. Rick Marino, a Jacksonville-based Elvis Presley impersonator, will perform. Chef DeJuan Roy will prepare a three course meal, with prime rib as an option and birthday cake for desert . There will be a commemorative celebration and surprise guests. The Chris Thomas Band will perform dance music.
